C++ Gaming Engineer - Foveated Rendering


Looking to transform the realms of computer graphics? Curious about eye tracking and how to use the technology to revamp the rendering pipeline in VR and other platforms? Want to be part of the change? Great, so do we!

Tobii Gaming is looking for a rendering expert to strengthen the team’s initiatives in foveated rendering. In this role, you will explore and develop gaze-enabled rendering techniques in various game engines, graphic APIs and hardware platforms. You will be based in Stockholm, but part of the job will be carried out on-site with our partners, gaming studios around the globe.

The role and responsibilities

This is al opportunity where you get to work with game studios all over the world and help crack the code of foveated rendering! 

Your days will be filled with:

  • Exploring and developing foveated rendering
  • Working tightly together with game studios and hardware partners across the globe
  • Being a technical leader within the team and within the Tobii SW department
  • Operating in cross-functional teams to experiment and deliver on new product objectives         

We believe you

  • Have some kind of engineering degree, but the passion for development and the late night hobby projects are equally meriting
  • Are experienced in C++ with at least 7 years of working experience
  • Know the graphics rendering pipeline and GPU architecture like the back of your hand
  • Value team work and to share your passions with colleagues and other developers
  • Absolutely love gaming and want to help us bring new experiences to gamers

We think that you have deep knowledge of the advanced lighting, texturing and rendering techniques as well as strong math and geometry skills. We want to solve the foveated rendering puzzle and we believe that you are the one to help us!
