Solution Architect to Tobii Pro

Tobii Pro brings forth world class products to understand human behavior using eye-tracking as our core. We invent and develop desktop applications, cloud applications, SDKs, firmware and hardware products (eye trackers and peripherals).

To make our customers successful, it is important our products work in concert. That data generated at the lowest level must make it all the way up through the stack. That products and services should work together in a natural way, while allowing us to reuse as many components as possible without getting stuck in rewrites or overly complex release management scenarios. To accomplish this, common components, such as data exchange formats, protocols and APIs need to be designed in a larger context.

You will not be alone in this effort, but work together with our teams of friendly and skilled engineers, product owners, product managers, researchers and data analysts. However, you will have the very important role of driving the technical effort to a path of harmony.

Tobii believes in developing people. We encourage you to read books and articles, attend conferences, and meet customers. We help you be the best you can be in a supporting environment.

Role and responsibilities

The solution architect within Tobii Pro is a senior role and you will report to the head of R&D.

  • Lead the development of common formats and protocols.
  • Increase the reuse of components, libraries, technical concepts etc. whenever suitable.
  • Visualize and document architectures.

Stay updated on new technologies and scout the market for new technologies that could help us in our product development.

We need you to have thorough technical understanding. Especially about what makes interoperable products work well together and to manage to see both the big picture as well as the nitty gritty details.

All our jobs at Tobii are about innovation, passion and not the least - making things real.
